It was a renowned name for its strong legacy of resilience and reliability. The updated version comes with the new Slide and Lock (SLS) weight system that made it better and stable even in rough waters.
The Mares Dragon BCD is evidently comfortable and stable yet tough and durable. It boasts a great contour and ergonomics, and still has a lift of 19.3 kg or 42.5lbs (large).

MARES DRAGON BCD REVIEW
The winged air cell design is the Mares Dragon BCD’s signature feature! The cells inflate around the tank in a fashion designed to reduce drag. These air cells provide up to 56 lbs of lift in the biggest versions of this BCD.
